Kerriann, formerly an executive in corporate sales and marketing, made a substantial career change to focus on her role as a devoted mother. Motivated by her passion for candles and the desire to eliminate harmful substances from her household and baby items, she delved into the art of candle-making. Starting as a hobby for a couple of years, her pastime blossomed into a thriving candle-making business by 2023.

After becoming a mom in 2019, Kerriann struggled to return to work, dealing with 'mom guilt' whenever she left her children. As an entrepreneur, she found balance by focusing on what brought her joy - pursuing her passions and spending time with her children. Occasionally, you'll see Violette and Gray accompanying her to visit local stockists and events.

At the end of 2023, Kerriann founded the Unruly Women Collective. An organization committed to supporting women-owned businesses through collaboration, community, and compassion. They host monthly events including shopping markets, curated events, and small meetups in the local Raleigh area.
